The logging town of Millpoint is established by decree of Queen Vera Liiscere II. The lumber would be necessary for her plans to expand the kingdom southward.

Only a few months after her father's death by her own hand, Queen Liiscere II began enacting an aggressive expansion campaign to reclaim ancient territory. The massive trees to the south seemed a promising source of lumber.
