For the Players of the Game of Shadows Campaign
Welcome, my players, to Castle Vlademoor, home of the famed Game of Shadows. You were each invited, by one faction or the other, to play for the Raven Throne. You are equiped with your blades, your wits, and your magic, but even with such mighty assets as these, they would not send you in with that alone. Enclosed are a few of the documents and files available to you, that have been provided to you by your masters. This may be updated over time with any documents found. Also note that many of these documents have physical copies. In that case, the physical copy is the one to be used in session, and these are for reference only. This is the first in a series, this one containing files on all of the twenty players for the Raven Throne. Three of these (Edgire Kallowix, Maulk and Miss Tabby) are player characters, and several of the others are player characters from previous campaigns, some retired and some still going strong.

Apearance: Tall. Red scales. Rough leather combat suit. Short black horns. Sword at belt.
Species: Dragonborn
Background: Intelligence has traced him to working for Watervhadian noblility as a gaurd.
Other Information: Wears Zhentarim signet ring. Noble family died in mysterious circumstances shortly before he left their service.
Name: Unranyn Dolasmath
Age: Young. 20s?
Apearance: Thin. Average height. Blue green skin. Dark eyes. Flowing blue robes. Long staff.
Species: Elf of some kind. Triton?
Background: Completely unknown. Rich, definetly.
Other Information: At least mildly Magickal.
Name: Edgire Kallowix
Age: Unknown
Apearance: Grey hair. Light brown skin. Fine brown and gold robes.
Species: Half-elf
Background: Comes from Triboar. Noble family. Linked to an academy.
Other Information: Is a player character. Some relation to the Elven mage hunters.
Name: Lavindia Nightshade
Age: 40s.
Apearance: Violet skin. A pair of black horns. Wears lavish black robes and large amounts of jewlery.
Species: Tiefling.
Background: Comes from a family of charlatans. Old money, yet not rich aside from clothes. Unsure why.
Other Information: Is a previous player character (from different campaign). Has expressed anger at being called a Crimson Sash agent because she is a Tiefling.
Name: Maulk
Age: Young for a Lizardfolk. 40 something?
Apearance: VERY tall (8ft+). Wears very little. Green scales. Carries paired shortswords.
Species: Lizardfolk
Background: Comes from tribes on eastern forests of Veridia.
Other Information: Is a player character. Has shown to be part of the Azure crests. Enjoys eating anything and anyone.
Name: Haggis Greatbeard
Age: Not old, but looks it.
Apearance: Short. Wears rusted iron armour. Permanantly grumpy.
Species: Dwarf
Background: Ex-adventurer. Was injured badly and retired.
Other Information: Paralised in his right arm and the right side of his torso, as result of a poison which is normaly temporary. Previous player character who was removed after he sustained said injury whilst murdering the DMPC.
Name: Winatred Wolfhide
Age: Unknown
Apearance: Huge, muscular. Wears leather armour under a cloak of animal hide. Hides his face under a hood always.
Species: Minotaur, Leonin, or Loxadon, based on build. Not enough known to tell with accuracy.
Background: Unknown.
Other Information: Possibly a lot clever than he looks, acording to a tip-off.
Name: Lady Branraza
Age: Early 30s.
Apearance: Average height. Pale skin. Blonde hair. White robes.
Species: Human, or suspected Aasimar.
Background: Dispossesed noble, maybe even outcast royal family.
Other Information: Lord Archibald dislikes her. Lady Evelyn seems neutral on the matter.
Name: Miss Tabby
Age: Unknown.
Apearance: Tabby furred. Wears apron and dress in look of a nursemaid or babysitter of old. Strangely, wears leather boots.
Species: Tabaxi
Background: Claims to be watching the ilegitamate baby of a noble who could not atttend. Nothing else known
Other Information: Is a player character. The aformentioned baby has been found to be made of wood and contain several knives, a forgery kit, and a crossbow.
Name: Akmenos Mordai, going by alias Lord Daanir Wolf
Age: 70s.
Apearance: Crimson Tiefling with black horns, one chiped. Long grey hair. Missing his right hand, no prosthetic. Various scars.
Species: Tiefling
Background: VERY complicated. Used to be an adventurer, then a general, then a king. He invaded Waterdeep at one point using a dozen soldiers true polymorphed into dragons which he teleported into Waterdeep (now that was a good campaign!). Now though, he's just a very wise and experienced old man. He can still pull a few favours from his old soldiers though.
Other Information: Has been my player character since I started D&D, going from 1st to 17th level so far. Is not on anyones side, it apears.
Name: Jessica Normal
Age: Unknown
Apearance: Average in every way. Average height, average strength, average intelligence. Wears very plain clothes.
Species: Unknown (claims to be human).
Background: Unknown
Other Information: Really strange. Intelligence can't trace it at all. I say it not she on purpose.
Name: Lord Hikdifatht
Age: 60s.
Apearance: Fine robes. Hazelnut skin. Piercing grey eyes. Carries a sceptre which has been in his family for generations.
Species: Human.
Background: A Veridian noble, he grew up with the twisted ways of the Game of Shadows. Indeed he grew up in the Castle.
Other Information: Paranoid. Won't leave his rooms without bodygaurds, and has all his food tested. A tip-off says he has good reason to be paranoid, but would not elaborate.
Name: Varla Rosebloom
Age: 21
Apearance: Short, wiry. Wears a simple grey tunic. similar to that of the servants. Short raven black hair. Sparkling round eyes.
Species: Halfling
Background: She grew up the child of a servant to the court, playing around the castle. When her mother died, Lord Archibald took her in and she grew up running wild in the court. Now Archibald is dieing, he told her to play for the Throne.
Other Information: Lady Evelyn disaproves of her greatly. She knows more about the castles secret passages than anyone else. Rumour has it that Archibald has left her large amounts in his will.
Name: Cabhrubishrint
Age: Unknown.
Apearance: Tiger like features and fur. Wears a burgundy suit and a black top hat. Those who stand near him notice their seems to be a multitude of screaming faces writhing around his clothes.
Species: Rakshasa (suspected), Leonin (claimed).
Background: Claims to be a wealthy businesman here for the money and hospitality
Other Information: Multiple times, he has invited a noble to his chambers to discuss business. They have invariably not returned. He has invariably said this: "They just wen' out f'r a walk. Nuthin 'o do with me." We do not believe him.
Name: Virven Thoruant
Age: ~700.
Apearance: Tall, very obviously elven, man. Wears fine gold robes. Quite wisened and weary.
Species: High Elf.
Background: Very distinguished sage of the northern elves who came because of a prophecy
Other Information: Last seen leaving the dining hall with Cabhrubishrint to "discuss a little business" in his rooms.

Apearance: Fine black suit. Gold gilt cane. Sabre at back.
Species: Unknown
Background: Unknown, believed to be the notourious Veridian spy known as Aex Soulknife.
Other Information: Has been seen conversing with Winatred Wolfhide.
Name: Dayermal
Age: Unknown, 200+.
Apearance: A tall, Elven looking woman with ice blue robes and armour underneath.
Species: Winter Eldradin
Background: A Veridian noblewoman who is running for the Raven Throne for the power.
Other Information: She is obssesed with power. Pretty much everyone dislikes her.
Name: Ashinasha
Age: In the 1000s.
Apearance: Green skin. Wood coming out of her arms and head. Wears leaf like natural armour.
Species: Wilden.
Background: Is a spirit of the nature of the islands. Wants to save the woods. Is not bound by normal law and rules.
Other Information: Only comunicates via telepathy. Quite violent if refused something.
Name: Lord Eyem Miang
Age: 60s.
Apearance: Hazel skin, grey eyes, typical of a Veridian. Wears black robes with golden gilding. Flat gold and black hat
Species: Human.
Background: A Veridian lord, the favourite of the home candidates to win the Raven Throne.
Other Information: Very passive agressive when he doesnt get what he wants.
Name: Lady Fulvesh Chavaru
Age: 40s.
Apearance: Short and thin. Wears a blue suit. Grey eyes. Dark skin.
Species: Half-Elf.
Background: A Veridian noblewoman, pretty typical and not expected to win. Might be cleverer than she seems.
Other Information: Greatly aproves of Varla Rosebloom and they talk often.
