Sleeve-Suit
Sleeve-Suit
The One-Piece Suit.
Whichever name you know it by, it is a well-known article of clothing that has it's roots deep in the early centuries of modern history, making it not very old in the grand scheme of the world.
But that does not diminish it's value.
In fact, that young age is thought to be one of the factors of how the clothing has survived the test of time, and yet also how it has managed to find it's way into modern history as a well-known fashion item.
The Sleeve-suit is believed to have taken off in the eighteenth century especially with the elite and powerful, as well as many other individuals who's main goal was to make a statement out of their name, influence and power in the world. It was mostly common in Rethium in Aswary, and it is thought to have remained exclusive to that nation as the modern times came to be.
The Sleeve-Suit is quite literal.
It is a tailor-made suit that is stitched and sewn together at the waist and with the primary method of applying and removing it situated on the back in the form of a zipper that stretches to just below the back, before the waist. This zipper is always fit to the same length on each suit, while the suits themselves are also tailor-made to the measurements of the wearer, although it is not usually common to see them in a size greater than a large.
They can be seen in a variety of colors such as blue, red and green, but it is known that all colors of suits are complimented by a stitched and very intricate design made of either silver, gold or even bronze or other metal leaf, with some very rare suits being tailored with Lefestone, which will cost those purchasing it to spend a rather large amount of money, although it is known that some individuals have purchased a Sleeve-Suit with a combination of two types of metal leaf stitched into the suit.
They have been common choices amongst many elite or high-profile professions of the world, but many writers, influencers and other men and women have been known to wear them. Some of the most well-known individuals to have worn the Sleeve-Suit are writers such as Dorothy Kirk and Salmon Stewart, inventors Oliver Posner, Bazel Kersey and Titus Pratte, and even such individuals as Kyra Price, Mason Howard, Son Legge and Arturo Beach, all of whom are renowned chefs and food critics from Rethium in the late twentieth century and mid twenty-first century respectively.
One major clothing brand to have adopted the Sleeve-Suit is the Aswary-based Stasis line, which is a higher-end clothing brand with price tags usually in the upper hundreds and thousands. This does appear to make them an exclusive clothing brand for the rich, but due to the rich history of the Sleeve-Suit, the commoners and lower-income groups of the world don't seem to mind, as there are plenty of other clothing brands that appeal to the general public.
