Personal history

Clay lived most of his life in laboratories and between bookshelves. His parents noticed his ambition and enrolled him on the very same school he later began to work for at a young age. He was the very first teacher in the school to be hired at 14 years of age.  He later met a lady, another teacher at the school, who he married for a couple years before ending in a divorce (a couple things happened, one of them being that she wanted children, but he didn't. So, she tried to accomplish this by force). This made him ask for some time off of work to distract his mind from the failed marriage.  He took this time to go out on a little adventure away from the town to practice on his alchemy skills, as well as aiming practice with the pistol he confiscated from a trouble student.

Failures & Embarrassments

His biggest blunder so far is not being able to make the person he loved happy. And at the same time, not being able to realize being emotionally manipulated sooner.

Mental Trauma

He now feels unable to open up to another person, nor able to be vulnerable, as they might become ammo to be used against him. He understand no everyone is malicious, but he keeps his guard up despite understanding that.
The only exception are children. Most are innocent and direct.
