Bards are a versatile class of adventurers who use their skills in music, storytelling, and performance to achieve their goals. They are charismatic and social characters who can excel in many different roles, such as healers, damage dealers, and supporters. They may have access to spells that allow them to manipulate minds, create illusions, or summon creatures to aid them in battle. They also channel their music or storytelling into powerful abilities that can turn the tide of a fight.

A bard who uses their voice to charm and control their enemies.

Bard Talents

Level 1

Musical Proficiency: Bards are proficient in one musical instrument of their choice.
Social Chameleon: Bards gain a bonus to their Persuasion and Deception checks equal to their Charisma modifier.

Level 5

Rhapsodic Leader: Bards can inspire their allies, granting them a temporary bonus equivalent to the bard's Charisma bonus to their attack rolls and damage rolls.

Level 9

Echoes of the Past: Bards can attune themselves to the memories of the past in a location, gaining insight into past events or outcomes.

Level 11

Arcane Melody: The bard can imbue their music with magical energy, allowing them to deal extra damage on their attacks. Whenever the bard deals damage with a weapon attack, they can add an additional 2d6 force damage to the attack.

Level 15

Sublime Performance: Bards can use their music to create a sublime performance that captivates their enemies. The target must roll against the bard's charisma.

Level 19

Sonic Shield: Bards can use their music to create a shield of sound that protects them and their allies from harm.
