Kingdom of Vauraus
"Long Live the Golden Flame!"
Demography and Population
At the pinnacle of amassing territory and power, Vauraus boasted a population of some 30,000 citizens, with nearly a third calling Anathema or the surrounding lands home. The wealthiest of the kingdom were majority human, the kingdom as a whole represented the diversity of Revne with strong minority presences of dwarves, gnomes, halflings, half-orcs, half-elves, and tieflings through the capital and other communities.
Territories
Spreading across all of the once lush island of Sulwyn as well as across the Dela Sea to southern Eirlys and even eastern clearings of Alwena (the only political force to ever claim any portion of the island from the elves), Vauraus to this day claims the distinction of the largest single entity to exist in Revne.
Military
The Golden Flames throughout the kingdom's history not only boasted a strong military and naval force, but also maintained a standing army of personal guards to oversee their protection and the protection of their personal interests. It was not uncommon to see trading carts guarded by the gold-trimmed armor bearers of the Flame's Guard.
Religion
Seeing their Golden Flame as the embodiment and Chosen of one of many gods within the Faerunian pantheon, the major religion of Vauraus shifted with each political shift to a new Golden Flame.
Foreign Relations
The elves of the Aldurwald maintained a particular distaste for the kingdom of Vaunaus, seeing their reach extending to the flatlands beyond their storied forests as a dormant threat which could eventually lead to undesired conflict.
Agriculture & Industry
In the fertile valleys of Sulwyn, Anathema and the surrounding regions produced enough foodstuffs to feed not only their own massive population, but much of the outlying communities as well. Complex and well-maintained roadways provided efficient transport of these goods as well as the valuable resources brought in from the fringe communities of the empire.

The kingdom's transactions were conducted with small hexagonal gold coins with square holes piercing one side. Each coin depicted the current Golden Flame on one side and the crest of the kingdom on the other.
Legislative Body
Though the Golden Flame's court contained numerous advisors and experts in matters of economy, foreign relations, and politics, the sitting king served as the sole legislator and judge in addition to his executive roles over the kingdom. In typical courts, advisors would draft the documents and make grand presentations to the Golden Flame who would then decide the merit of the proposal, make any desired changes, and then declare the decree into effect.
Judicial Body
While local magistrates and king's representatives sorted out matters within the smaller communities, several of the Golden Flames in recorded history are reported to have enjoyed and made habit of directly overhearing even relatively small disputes within the capital of Anathema. Others are documented as holding certain judicial figures within their court and only directly dealing with the larger scale cases.
