The Founding
At the height of the Time of Pandemonium was the event that came to be known as The Founding. This entry will explain everything leading up to the event, as well as the event itself, for all of you who wish to learn of Humanity's and the Divine's worst mistake in recorded history.
Oh, it is a curse to be able to look back upon the past and remember these mistakes. But, I guess that can also be seen as a blessing...
The Cause
It all began when the new order of Deities appeared and began challenging the original Pantheon for power. They began stealing the worship given by mortals by converting their faiths. This resulted in a splintering of beliefs among the people of Revole. As a result, the First Pantheon retaliated and began pressing there influence harder on the World. This added presence began warranting nervousness from there faithful. Many began telling of horrible tragedies, claiming the end was nigh for the world due to the increase of divine presence. In addition, those who began worshipping the New Divines were called heretics for abandoning there old faith. Conflict quickly amassed among the people of the realm.

Summary
- At the climax of the Time of Pandemonium, was the event now known as the Founding. For nearly two millennium people had stopped praying to the gods who once protected them. Almost half of the First Pantheon had died, leaving only a handful of weak frail deities. The majority of humanoid races were on the brink of extinction. The world was harsh, desolate, and crumbling.
- Deep underground, within the Sapphire Mountains, something had happened. A large amount of magical and divine energy suddenly released and echoed throughout the whole of Altara. This wave of energy had disturbed an ancient slumbering entity. Miles underneath the dirt and rock, things began to shift. A primordial from beyond the Age of Voienum had awakened, Tarekzuk.
- The primordial angered, ventured to the surface. The wave of divine energy had reminded it of the First War, and the pain it had caused both it and its kind. In an attempt at vengeance it marched towards the Altara Megalith, a relic of old. Once the remaining humanoids realized what was heading their way, they mustered all the force they could. Thousands upon thousands were sent to their deaths, in hopes of stopping the Primordial. But it was in vain. Soon Tarekzuk reached the Megalith, and began attacking. After hundreds of attacks, eventual cracks began to form. With every attack, more and more energy from the megalith began to seep out.
- All across the world, the old primordials of old began to awaken, and with them their elemental chaos. The world began to enter back into its old state. The earth began shifting and cracking, the oceans began rising, the land North of Altara began to boil as volcanoes began erupting, and the wind started to tear through the fields and valleys. This chaotic energy however, attracted the attention of something beyond. The remaining deities sent their forces. An army of celestials belonging to the First Pantheon rallied together. The Megalith after many hours of holding its own was beginning to lose form. Tarekzuk was close to achieving vengeance. But, now he had a new enemy to deal with. The army of celestials began their assault. The old primordial was entirely alone. Rather quickly, he began to get overwhelmed. Eventually, he retreated, and fled back into the earth. The other primordials also reentered into their slumbers.
- However, the damage had been done. The Megalith was cracked and was oozing incredible amounts of magic. The world had been damaged by the reawakening of the primordials. This act from the gods would inspire the humanoids to reapply their faiths. Allowing the remaining deities to continue on... The events of The Founding echoes throughout Kelothar. Some years later, new birth marks began appearing on a few select individuals. Many scholars believe the cracking of Altara's Megalith would cause the appearance of the Primordial Marks...
