Aserama

Aserama is an independent, peaceful safe haven free city in the South West of Elgidth. Trade is very important to the civilization as many foreigners come to Aserama to trade. Many beast-folk humanoid races exist in the city like Satyr, Centaur, Leonin, Aarakocra, Tabaxi and Grey Kenku. The great city is quite large and is well protected by a giant stone wall that surrounds it.

Demographics

Aserama has a wide spectrum of races in it, due to the beginnings of the city being as a refuge to all, no matter their race. The common races (Dwarves, Elves and Halflings) make up roughly 30% of the population, the rest is divided between the Minotaurs, Tortles, Tabaxi, Loxodon, Grey Kenku, Aarakocra, Tieflings, Leonin, Satyr, Centaurs with the rest of the races making up roughly 5% of the population.

Government

The city-state is ruled by a Lordchief, who has their personal right hand and any other assistant they desire. Right under the Lordchief is a council which consists of the leaders of their own respective guild branches.

Defences

Aserama is surrounded by a 65ft (20m) stone wall. There are gates located to the South, East and North, which are guarded by giant Minotaurs - Butaurs.

Industry & Trade

Aserama has all types of businesses, ranging from tinkerer shops to silk weavers, to magic shops, to regular fish stalls.

Guilds and Factions

Sectors

Aserama is split into 5 sectors which relate to what professions, races, buildings exist withing the sector.

Sector A

Sector A includes the West Harbour but more notably most of the adventurer guilds, training grounds and some schools. Many Aarakocra live in Sector A.

Sector B

Sector B is the largest sector as it includes all of the market area and big portions of the living area around. Many households, schools, parks and playgrounds exist in Sector B. It also includes most of the big roads and streets.

Sector C

Sector C is a unique sector as it is located underground, and only around 10% of it is above, around the North East part of the city, where the entrance to the underground city exists. Sector C is inhabited by engineers, inventors and scientists. It mainly consists of Gnomes, although it has some other citizens, one of which - the humans. Sector C is one of the only places where humans can be found in Aserama.

Sector D

Sector D is the sector which has the main military, storage units, prisons and police forces.

Sector S

The S sector is another unique sector as it's the one that houses royals, nobles, politicians, wealthy citizens and lords. It is the Sector that the Lordchief's castle can be found in.
