Saguaro Sky

Saguaro Sky

A wanted poster hangs in the stone walls of Hoard. Under the large text, a tall narrow figure is depicted with a cloak wrapped around her. The carcvae in the image is drawn as if they are a fleshy mortal but with a green dye. Their face is drawn with limited detail and her canopy is short and prickly. Depicted in the space next to her face is a mask of an antlion, with small beady eyes and large mandibles. The poster is pulled down by long fingers and disappears under the observer's cloak.   Saguaro Sky is considered the second most dangerous being in Ar Malaha, overshadowed only by her quarry.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Saguaro is lanky, with a tall body supported by long legs and arms. Much of their remaining physical appearance is dictated by the cultural appearance of carcvae. They have a traditionally pruned form producing a resemblance to cacti spines.

Identifying Characteristics

Saguaro's height is one of her main defining characteristics. Their appearance as a hunter is tied to the ant lion mask.

Apparel & Accessories

To protect from the harsh desert weather, Saguaro wears a thin hooded cloak or scarf.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Saguaro Sky is a renowned hunter, typically employed as an assassin. Most information about them is therefore purposefully obscure. Some suggest she is the head of a large organization, while others assume she works alone to maintain such secrecy. Either way they must be highly intelligent to lay their characteristic traps. Additionally, she must have some background in mechanical or magical working to create some of the trap parts.   Their most noteworthy work was the attempted assassination of Kornarak. While in itself this is not noteworthy (assassination attempts come in somewhere near biyearly for the dragon ruler), she is the only being known to have survived an assassination attempt. This is due entirely to her expertise in trapping. The full plot is difficult to find, the event shamefully erased by the dragon himself, but it is suggested that Saguaro lured Kornarak into the desert to her enormous trap. The trap deployed successfully but the strength of the dragon was underestimated and he broke free. Presumably, the hunter herself was nowhere near the trap or the dragon king would have killed them. Enemies of the dragon hope there may be a slow working poison, or a part two to the trap and it is al going to plan.
