Humans

Humans are by far and large the race one is most likely to encounter as they traverse the lands. With an average lifespan of 80 years and the ability to produce offspring with almost any other race, it's no wonder to see the vast lands that these people inhabit.  

Traits

Age: Humans reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than a century.   Size: Humans vary widely in height and build, from barely 5 feet to well over 6 feet tall. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium.   Speed: Your base walking speed is 30 ft.   Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and one extra language of your choice. Humans typically learn the languages of other peoples they deal with, including obscure dialects. They are fond of sprinkling their speech with words borrowed from other tongues: Orc curses, Elvish musical expressions, Dwarvish military phrases, and so on.  

Kircian

Language: You can speak, read, and write Kircian.   The World Is Yours: You have proficiency in one skill of your choice.   Tinker's Expertise: You gain proficiency with Tinker's Tools. When you craft an object using tools you're proficient with, you count as two characters working for determining the amount of gp worth of effort for every day spent creating the item, allowing you to craft objects faster than others.   Arcane Heritage: As someone born in and raised within the confines of the Kircian Dominion you have innate natural arcane energy flowing through your blood. You gain one of the following Cantrips and may cast it at will: Mage Hand or Prestidigitation.  

Palushian

Stone People: You gain proficiency with the artisan's tools of your choice ( either smith's tools or mason's tools). You have proficiency with light hammers and warhammers.   Mountaineer: You ignore difficult terrain when moving through rocky terrain. Whenever you make a Strength (Athletics) check to climb rocks, you are considered proficient in the Athletics skill and add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead of your normal proficiency bonus.   Powerful Build: You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.   Strong as a Rock: Your hit point maximum increases by 1, and it increases by 1 every time you gain a level. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.   Language: You can speak, read, and write in Dwarven.  

Lyzantian

Language: You can speak, read, and write Lyzantian.   Faith of the People: Lyzantus is a place of a deep religious roots and a such you have a wealth of religious knowledge and have proficiency in Religion.   Student of The University: As a country founded under the principles of knowledge and home to the largest and most renowned arcane universities you have proficiency in Arcana. You may roll with advantage against magical effects that require a save a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining uses at the end of a long rest.  

FreeFolk

Children of the Wild: You have proficiency in the Nature skill and you gain proficiency with the herbalism kit.   Fleet of Foot: Your base walking speed increases to 35 feet.   Natural Resistances: You have advantage on saving throws against poisons and diseases.   Watchers of the Forests: Whenever you make a Wisdom(Perception) checks while in a forest, you are considered proficient in the Perception skill and add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead your normal proficiency bonus.  

Shevarran

Agile and Strong: You have proficiency in the Athletics and Survival skills.   Born in the Desert: You have advantage on saving throws against extreme heat. In addition, once per long rest when you would gain a level of exhaustion, you can choose to not gain a level of exhaustion.   Dune Warrior: You have proficiency with light armor, scimitars, whips and shortbows. When you score a critical hit with any of this weapons, you can roll one of the weapon's damage dice one additional time and add it to the extra damage of the critical hit.   Language: You can speak, read, and write Shevarran.  

Tval-son

Courageous: You have advantage on saving throws against being frightened.   Glory over Death: When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can't use this feature again until you finish a long rest.   Snowfolk: You have proficiency in the Survival skill. You have proficiency with battleaxes, great axes, longswords and greatswords.   Winter Fortitude: You have advantage on saving throws against extreme cold.   Language: You can speak, read, and write your tribe's dialect of Tevmal.
