Tracker's Guild

The Tracker's Guild is a non-alinged organization of bounty hunters and mercenaries, commonly referred to as 'Trackers'. For a price, trackers will find lost people and items, exterminate monsters and beasts, capture criminals or protect VIPs. The organisation is loosely knit, with guildhalls located in most major settlements on the continent, where trackers can congregate to resupply, recover and take on new jobs.

Structure

Guild Halls
Each guild operates independently of each other and whilst they maintain regular communication with each other there are no formal rules that they all share. However, most guilds follow a loose code which keeps them from being embroiled in local politics. These include:
  • The Guild will not accept jobs that are seen to have a political element (i.e., assassinate a political opponent, protect an unpopular ruler etc.) or cannot be completed without breaking local laws.
  • Trackers have the freedom to complete jobs in any way that they see fit , however the Guild does not make a habit of protecting those that fall foul of the law and will not accommodate those with a local bounty on their head.
  • Conflict between trackers over a job or pay are adjudicated by a local Guild Master. All other disagreements are resolved in whatever manner is deemed appropriate by the concerned parties... provided they don't happen on Guild property of course.
  • Guild Master
Guildhalls are headed by a Guild Master, who oversees the maintenance and running of the local guild. Guild Masters are also responsible for setting a price for a job on a Tracker's behalf and will collect payment from a client in advance. Once a job has been completed, a Guild Master will take out any money for lodgings, equipment, fines or bribes that a tracker has incurred and then pay the tracker whatever is left over.   Trackers
Trackers are the lifeblood of the Trackers guild, taking contracts from local clients and delivering on them. Trackers come from all walks of life, with a vast collection of ethnicities, beliefs and morals present in the organisation. All trackers are free to take on whatever types of jobs are offered in the local area with many specialising into particular roles including bodyguards, detectives, monster hunters and bounty hunters.

We can find anything. For anyone. For a price of course
