History
Gates of the Ancient City of Lau
The modern city of Brynna is built on the ruins of the once great ancient city of Lau. Being the first city in Rhydar, on its eastern landmass, it was the foundation for modern Rhydan culture and language, being the birthplace of the Siara language and writing system. As the power of the city grew and surrounding areas began to be conquered the city built one of the very first Rhydan city states. This didn't last forever of course, soon meeting enemies to the north in the Korrla who eventually drove most of the ancient Launese down to the strait of Siransa and across to the peninsula of Rhosaya.
Architecture
The city's architecture is a mix of modern Atlan architecture and the ancient Lau buildings, with some that were still standing being renovated.
