Personal history

Originally born to high class nobility in the Rheyan port town of Stoiana. Lia (Lady) Daya Pasrin spent most of her younger years being a follower to her parents' actions, trying to understand the life of a noble. That was until one night when nomadic raiders from the Avaran plains came, raiding the town, causing causalities and capturing many other. One of the captured was the last Daya herself, who had seen the last of her parents that day before being taken by the raiders back to their settlement.
These weren't any normal raiders though, they were obsessed with this stone that was the main export of Stoiana, known as Remnant. It is said during this time the raiders somehow fused Daya with the Remnant stone. Feeling the immense pain of every needle stabbing her skin, Daya was tortured for weeks as everyday new remnant needles would be stabbed into her. One day, while the experiment was taking place, Daya's skin began to glow a bright orange before igniting into a giant inferno, burning down the raider settlement and everyone within, apart from Daya. The 13 year old Daya came free from the debris with a strange newly found power that laid deep within her. This was the first Flare. As well as being able to ignite the air around her, Daya managed to learn that she can manipulate the life energy of animals, making them do her bidding. This was the stepping stone for Daya in her quest to ravage the Lynulu River Valley. Simply known as the "Unrelenting One" across many villages, some villages decided it would be a good idea to offer their services to the crazed Daya in the hopes she wouldn't kill them. Daya, very smartly, realized that she could use her power for so much more than just destroy, that she could take over all of known Rhydar with this power, with her at its center. And so began Daya I's conquest of Rhydar

Sexuality

Daya, while more interested in political and war fairing affairs, was known to have at least one child Riana the Calm, who herself gave birth to the infamous Earin the Unbound. It is also said Daya may have had other children during her earlier ravaging days but it's unfounded.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Despite her many atrocities, she also brought many cities, such as Stoiana, into a golden age. As the first capital to Daya's Empire, it grew into one of the most important cities on Avara. (Ancient Stoiana above)

Daya managed many feats during her time on the battle field. Uniting many small town and villages, though by force, under a single community. This soon grew into a country, which then soon grew into an entire empire. Uniting this area, originally from the eastern edge of the Lynulu River Valley, to her home town of Stoiana along the Lexu river. Daya created Rhydar's first major empire. Along with this Daya became one of the most influential minds in Rhydar with her idea of religious freedom. With other smaller new nations, such as the Kingdom of Albany and Rhosaya Republic, forming under religions such as the Church of Polaris or Temple of Rhos it was a pioneer idea. Understanding there were so many small and divergent religions within her control she knew that the only way to let her people live peacefully was to give the freedom to believe in whatever they did pre conquest. Believing in this idea of freedom, Daya also allowed people within her empire a chance to rise up as well as fall down in the class system. She believed that a class system was necessary, but that it should be fluid rather than stagnate and unchanging. Her addition of Siara to the Lynulu region though is probably most influential. Bringing her native tongue of the western dialect of Siara to her conquered lands truly connected most of Rhydar under one language. With eastern Siara being used by the Kingdom of Albany to the east, the second biggest Rhydan nation at the time.
Many young Dayne children of parents killed during Daya's conquests were trained to become scribes for her new empire. Learning the languages of Siara, Rheyan, and Lereyn. With many being bilingual in Siara and Lereyn, they blended the writing of the two languages together, forming the western dialect of the Siara language. Which many natives call Siryn.

Failures & Embarrassments

During the early days of her conquests, Daya would often sack and burn many towns that did not comply or surrender to her terms.
Due to her early childhood where she was known to much of Rhydar as the "Unrelenting One" destroying many villages and towns in her earliest conquests, the name has stuck with her even long after her death and many, much worse, rulers have come and gone.

Mental Trauma

PTSD, Death of her parents

Intellectual Characteristics

Linguistically gifted. Daya knew many of the smaller river tribe languages that made up the majority of her empire.

Morality & Philosophy

Believed in class fluidity and that people who are truly gifted deserve to rise up and be successful in life.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

To conquer all of known Rhydar. Though this died down the older Daya got.

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Savvy fighter, craftsman, weapons smith, cloth maker, cooker

Social

Religious Views

Daya didn't have a religious affiliation, spending most of her teenage years as a nomad, but respected the religious views of others.

Social Aptitude

Not only a great conqueror, Daya was very charismatic and beautiful which helped play a role in the integration of her empire culturally.

Wealth & Financial state

Daya accumulated many richest on her conquest across the northern and western plains of Rhydar. It is said the first throne she built was made completely out of pure Atlan gold, the rarest, non remnant, substance of Rhydar.

Much more calm minded than her mother, Riana the Calm (Pasarin) was cursed with her mother's vicious unrelenting Flare.   Though many centuries down the line Morgan of the West would claim to be the "true heir" to Daya's throne, Daya is only known to have one legitimate daughter, Riana the Calm.
