Twin cities that sit opposite to one another on Avana island in Kera Bay. Most northern cities in the kingdom. Emprys is the capital city of the Korrlu district.

Being cold most of the year, apart from the summer months, most people outside of the native Korrla population lives within the cities' borders.

Government

While Emvly shares the island with its twin city, Emprys, the later city is the capital of the district. So Emprys holds the districts capital building, most of its head families, as well as the larger population.

Defences

Not only being within the colder frontier regions of the Kingdom. The cities are also completely isolated on Avana Island. The only way to make it, other than swimming across the freezing Kera Bay, is by boat from the small town of Keala.

Industry & Trade

The cities' biggest exports are its thick tree lumber that it gathers from the surrounding tundra area.

With Emprys being the capital city it is kept to a much higher standard than its twin, Emvly, who is often forgotten about.

History

An few old settlements scattered along the Kera Bay area, they slowly became two big cities that sat opposite one another. Though both cities share most of the same history, Emvly is very often in Emprys' shadow.

Geography

Located in the cold frontier area of the kingdom. It stays cold most of the year apart from the last few summer weeks when it gets the most sunlight, that is when the city get most of its tourists.

The Rynnyr family is an example of one of the many head "families" that live within Emprys borders. Typically adorning White/Purple clothing, the city's colors, the Rynnyr family is one of the more important families in the Korrlu district with many great minds coming from the family and contributing greatly to society and the betterment of their district/kingdom.

Emvly - Milnu

The Milnu family is one of the few head "families" to still call Emvly their home. With their black and purple crest colors being unique within the kingdom's districts. As well as this they pride themselves as being craftsmen and fighters rather than aristocrats like most families. Truly a unique head family in Rhydar. This may also be why Juniper Polaris, cousin to King Leon V, married into the family, being more of a labor worker/fighter herself.
