The Old House/Shed

The old house is just one of the houses we lived in while we built our proper houses. It's not very impressive, more of a shed, honestly. It's the only one of the old houses still standing, though that's because we've made sure that it doesn't collapse or anything. Maintaining it and all that. Mostly, we keep it around as a storage shed. It's a pretty good place to put the sort of food that doesn't need to go in an icebox, though there is an ice box in it. Just a small one.

Crystal: What the fuck? Why is there an article about my old house?

Angel: It's a part of our history! And it's important if someone wants to get a good idea of what our home is like.

Crystal: Is actually either of those things, though?

Angel: Okay, fine. I left Ember with her dads to get some peace and quiet for a moment, and then got bored. I needed something to do.

Crystal: Fair enough.

Before it was a shed, this house was lived in by Crystal. Our resident grumpy zokki ex-spy. It was the smallest of the three temporary shelters because Crystal has always insisted on living alone whenever possible. Being so small meant that it was the perfect size to turn into a shed.
Another notable event in the shed's history would be when Mina broke into first our ice boxes and then the shed in the middle of the night to eat every scrap of meat she could get her hands on. This was kind of alarming! Technically, Mina is the product of several secret experiments that even she wasn't aware of, so for a moment there it seemed like whatever had been done to her had made her lose her mind or something. Turns out, she just needs to eat more meat than the rest of us.
Mostly, though, the shed is just kind of...there. Storing food. Being a good place to hide when your child is being just way to loud and you just want to let your husbands deal with it. Pretty sure Mina and Jude have had sex in there once. Many uses for the shed! Glad we kept it around!
