The Laws of Magic

A text describing all the laws and principles of magic and what should and shouldn't be done.

Purpose

It is a tome of knowledge on the limits and boundaries of magic. It also goes into depth on how magic works and the interactions between spells and forms of magic.

The book is divided into the different schools of magic and in each it goes into the greatest feats of magic within these schools and the limits to it.

Publication Status

The original handwritten copy is kept in the library at Blackthorn Academy.

Historical Details

Background

It was written by Almitzer Blackthorn in his last days chronicling his knowledge on how magic works.

Legacy

The book has gone on to spark a lot of debate within magical circles as some of the descriptions of feats of magic seem incredible in plausible and since the Rift, the document has been proven right. Another work, know as The Exponential Arcane Theory, is being written by Falis Denia as a continuation of this tome to question the limits suggested in Almitzer's work.
