Working together with the renegade angels, the Gods were able to purify the rest of Fragen’s infection in Rine and prevent the crystalline spread.

As a side effect of constant participation in the purification process, the renegade angels were similarly purified of their Yami influences, renaming themselves as Demons. This process also quickened the spark of life within the crystalline caverns below Kutskaya, creating the Wisps. They claimed the caverns for themselves and renamed them Hollowpoint. The spark of life within the caverns also created a seed of divinity, hidden and growing within the crystals under the Wisps’s critical gaze.
