Temple of the Heart
The place in which the original Moot was held, the Temple of the Heart is a small structure atop an unassuming hill. The location was chosen due to its clear view of the Heart of the World on a sunny day. The building itself is a round structure, with pillars rather than walls, a domed ceiling with a fresco of the Heart of the World on it, and a large stone table placed directly in the center.
The representatives from the sapient species met here, around this stone table, and together wrote the Law of Speech. Since that time, the Temple has been kept under the protection of the Church of the Heart. Monks keep the grounds clean and protect the structure from wear. Hundreds of visitors, scholars, and students visit each year to see the Temple and the history associated with it, and its location in Kingdom of Balveda is a point of cultural pride for the Kingdom.
