Daggerford

Daggerford is a small town located in the western region of Faerun, along the banks of the Delimbiyr River. The town is important for its strategic location, which makes it an crucial crossroads for trade and travel in the region. Daggerford is a place of great history and tradition, known for its friendly and hospitable people, who welcome travelers with open arms. However, whilst its economy thrives on trade caravans and adventuring parties passing through, its residents are firmly set in their ways and resist any expansion that would upset the town's rural idyll.

Daggerforders are fiercly independent and stubborn, and have no truck with the nobility. They respect nobles from other lands as part of their ingrained hospitality, but would never brook with one ruling over them. Daggerford is ruled instead by a council of elders and led by a mayor, selected by consent among all the citizens of the town.

Despite its small size, Daggerford is a bustling town with many shops, inns, and taverns. It is a popular destination for travelers and adventurers who are seeking to explore the western regions of Faerun, and it offers many opportunities for trade, commerce, and adventure. The town is also home to many skilled craftsmen and artisans, who produce some of the finest traditonal goods and works of art in the region. Daggerford is a place of great charm and character, where people have a simpler and more sedate life than many other locations on the Sword Coast.
