Rithicca
Of all stories passed down from generation to generation, fathers to sons, masters to students, one seems to hold roots in all corners of the world. First was The Wither, a barren and vast island in an endless void. Then from the aether came the Untethered. The Untethered took The Wither and shaped her into what we know as Rithicca. Some brought from the aether such things as the elements, life and ideas. Others brought corruption and entropy. lifeforms and beliefs rose and fell. Empires conquered to soon be forgotten.Through eons of trial and error we arrived at what we know today. Rithicca was once an ample provider to those that respected her. Now many extend their reach too far and beget fates unimaginable. Various races have divided the territories amongst themselves, claiming what they believe to rightfully be theirs, causing famine and poverty as populations increase and inter-societal relations grow tense. Now Rithica's strongest set out to champion their homelands and gods to claim unfound lands to sustain their kin. Many seek refuge from uncomfortable lives by paying homage to the Untethered that they believe look after them.
