Elf

Humanoids with long, pointed ears.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Elves are, in almost all respects, identical to humans. The chief difference between elves and humans are their pointed tipped ears. Ear length can vary, but are an average of 6 - 7 inches long. Some ears may be no longer than a humans ear. The longest elf ears on record belonged to Julian Maurant, at 16 inches.

Ecology and Habitats

Elves, along with humans, are the most genetically diverse sapient race. There are many elf sub-races, all of which come from different origins and habitats. The most common natural habitat for elves are forests. About 75% of all elves have DNA that can be traced back to wooded areas. A few other common elven habitats include plains, caves, and deserts.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Elves are omnivores.
