Panna Mahal (पन्ना महल)

The royal palace of Jenarus, and where the Zin Ji and Taj Jul live.

Architecture

As well as being sturdy, the building is extremely ornate. The base of the building is built with stone to allow the walls to be strong, and then plaster is used on top of it to give the walls a smoother texture, allowing them to be painted and decorated with ease.  The roof of the Panna Mahal is made from gold, and the building is decorated with many precious metals and gems. The tiles that make up the floor are intricate and hand crafted by master artisans before being inlaid into the floor.

Tourism

There are front facing sections of the Panna Mahal, that allow tourists. These rooms are under watch by the palace guard, who ensure that visitors don't stray further into the palace. The entire third and fourth floor of the Panna Mahal are off limits to guests and visitors.
