Aaos, the God of Dawn
Aaos, the steadfast son of Kova, is revered as a deity of structure, industry, storm, and conflict. Embodied within his domains of Forge, Order, Tempest, and War, Aaos represents the intrinsic necessity of stability, the power of creation, the unpredictability of nature, and the undeniable turmoil of conflict.
"My followers are the anvil upon which the strength of the world is forged. In the flames of conflict and the calm of order, they find their purpose. The world, in its chaos and calm, is but a forge for greater destinies."Known for his unyielding nature, Aaos is often visualized as a stalwart figure, standing tall amidst the tumult of a storm, a hammer poised over the anvil. His followers perceive him as a guide, directing them on the path of order, resilience, and industrious creation. Aaos's followers, called the Dawnbringers, are a congregation of blacksmiths, soldiers, lawmakers, and storm chasers. They reflect Aaos's multifaceted domains in their diverse ranks. Blacksmiths revere him as the divine blacksmith, the originator of the craft of forging, offering their meticulously crafted works in his honor. Soldiers pay homage to him as the deity of war, seeking his blessing for strength and victory. Lawmakers, on the other hand, honor him as the upholder of order, hoping to infuse their laws with his inherent sense of justice and stability. Storm chasers, the most adventurous of his followers, venerate him as the master of tempests, seeking his protection against the unpredictable wrath of nature. The temples of Aaos, known as Mornings' Sanctuary, stand as majestic structures symbolizing his diverse domains. Built from the sturdiest of materials, these temples often house a forge, a court, and an open space dedicated to observing the tempests. The sound of hammers striking the anvil and the hum of quiet prayers fill the halls, while the open spaces await the next storm, ready to revel in Aaos's tempestuous domain. With unwavering faith, the Dawnbringers dedicate their lives to embodying the principles of Aaos, seeing in him the balance of order and chaos, creation and destruction. The Mornings' Sanctuary, therefore, becomes their refuge, a testament to the unwavering resolve and power of their deity, Aaos.

Holidays
The Dawn of Spring, or Spring Dawning, is a revered time in Ro'Kroya, an occasion heralding the end of the chill winter and the onset of the rejuvenating spring. It is the initiation of the Season of the Rebirth, a period symbolizing the world's revival and renewal after the long, harsh winter. This holiday is marked by celebration and joy, uniting all walks of life in a shared reverence for life's enduring resilience.
As the first tendrils of spring unfurl across the land, the people of Ro'Kroya cast off their winter blues and embrace the promise of a fresh start. Even the humblest of homes become abuzz with activity as preparations for the Spring Dawning get underway. The chill in the air dissipates, replaced by a warm sense of anticipation.
Farmers, the backbone of Ro'Kroya, begin by ceremoniously sowing the first seeds of the season. They till their lands, the scent of fresh, fertile earth heralding the start of new life. Their robust laughter echoes in the fields, mixing with the tranquil sounds of nature awakening from its winter slumber. In the heart of the communities, markets brim with eager customers purchasing vibrant blooms, fresh produce, and trinkets symbolic of the Season of the Rebirth.
In every village and city, people gather in their communal squares or central fields. A giant, symbolic effigy of winter, often made of straw and old winter garments, is built and set ablaze in a public spectacle. This represents the official end of winter and the triumph of spring, signifying the rebirth of life.
Children run around with flower crowns, their faces painted with vibrant colors that mimic the blooming flowers, while adults engage in dance and song. The air is thick with the enticing aroma of traditional foods being prepared, shared freely among attendees, regardless of status or wealth.
The Spring Dawning is a day of unity and equality, where the social stratifications of everyday life are momentarily forgotten. The rich and the poor, the powerful and the meek, all come together to honor and rejoice in the cycle of life.
As day turns into night, the celebrations culminate in a grand display of fireworks, their bright colors reflecting off faces filled with hope and happiness. The night sky of Ro'Kroya is ablaze with shimmering lights, a silent promise of the good that the new season will bring.
The Dawn of Spring is a reminder to all inhabitants of Ro'Kroya of their shared heritage and their symbiotic relationship with nature. It reinforces the circle of life - the perennial ebb and flow, death and rebirth, and the constant renewal that defines existence on Ro'Kroya.
