Creation and Origin

Half-Orcs, a race born from the union of humans and orcs, are often the result of arrangements made during the times of uneasy truces or alliances between human and orc communities. These unions, sometimes born out of necessity for peace or mutual benefit, have led to the emergence of a race that embodies the strengths of both parent races.

Distribution in Eroth

While a substantial number of Half-Orcs are found in the Needlevine Region, they are also present in other parts of Eroth, albeit in smaller numbers. They tend to avoid larger cities, possibly due to the lingering prejudices and stereotypes associated with their orcish heritage.

Integration and Success in Dente

In Dente, the Orc homeland, Half-Orcs often find themselves ascending to positions of power and influence, attributed to their unique combination of human intelligence and orcish strength. Their dual nature allows them to navigate the complexities of orc society while bringing in fresh perspectives and strategies.

Life on the Mainland

On the mainland of Eroth, Half-Orcs are recognized for their impressive physical prowess, often surpassing that of other races. This has led many to find success in roles where strength and endurance are prized. A notable increase in the number of Half-Orcs participating as gladiators in the arenas of Atha highlights their combat skills and physical capabilities.
