The Sphere
Greyspace is the largest sphere in the radiant triangle clocking in at a whopping 16,000 million miles () across. Infact all of Realmspace could fit between the shell and it's primary Oerth. The Sphere is Geocentric, with Liga the systems "Sun" occupying the 3rd orbital slot. Liga struggles to heat the sphere due to it's volume, making it's wildspace a brisk 45 deg. Lastly, orbits in Greyspace are faster than what seems possible for their distance from Oerth and the size of the body. For example, Raenei only takes 28 days to complete it's 188.5 trip.The exterior of the sphere has a mesmerising opalesence much like mother of pear, but the inside is the black that absorbs all light. It has no texture or tempature, nor can anything actually touch it; some unknown force stops everything ahairs bredth from the shell. The Starts that dot the inside are actually huge multifaceted jewels that are imbedded in the shell. These star gems range from a few hundred feet across to 20 miles. Despite this minute size (on a solar systems scale) they are perfectly visiable from ahywhere in the sphere.
