Eldred is crowned king of the whole kingdom.

Eldred is crowned king of the whole kingdom. He names it Albion in honour of his father who started the process of uniting the tribes.   Meanwhile Caerdic's followers, led by Lynna, take his body and bury it in the The Great Desert.   The Queen and her companions never return to Albion. It is unknown if they perished or not, but widely believed that they stayed in the desert to guard his Callindrill's Tomb.
