Military action

Warriors of the Dragon Province invade.

Eastward.   Eldred rides to Eastward after getting word that the town is under attack by the Easterners. The Warriors of the Sun help out, with their horses, and make the difference in the battle.   Eldred faces an Eastern warrior he knows - Kinosuke - who helped teach him to fight and has to kill him as the Easterner refuses to surrender.   The tribe leader of Eastward swears fealty to Eldred in thanks for his aid.   Caerdic reminds Lynna about the last time the two were here in Eastward. She fondly recalls them consummating their relationship in a grove out of town to the east, beyond the safety of the town.
