Daidoji Sato

Born in Crane lands to a decently wealthy Daidoji family, he was hostaged to the Lion clan shortly after his Gempakku to end a conflict. He has always been fascinated by religion, and he hates his current situation, so he recedes into temple and religious study, making him present almost like a monk in his mannerisms. He currently acts as a Yojimbo for the Kitsu family.

Virtues

Quiet and contemplative, Sato is often insightful and capable of making snap decisions in moments of high pressure. He is a devout follower of the Tao. He's a skilled yojimbo, quite capable of keeping those around him alive.

Sato is stand-offish, aloof, and doesn't trust people. He would much rather spend his days in a shrine, and, quite often, will ignore his better judgment to do so. He refuses to keep more than he can carry, and doesn't take gifts well.

Sato holds a deep resentment toward his mother and father for sending him away for so many years to a clan that hates him and he, in turn, hates. He doesn't keep good contact, instead turning himself to the shrines. He has 4 older siblings, none of which he keeps close contact with, either.
