Scroll of Inner Alchemy

Characters who spend 8 hours reading from the Scroll of Inner Alchemy learn the following information about ki (an additional 2 weeks gives access to the stat change and bonus feature below):

• Though commonly thought of by those outside the monastic orders as mystical energy, ki has strong ties to elemental air, for breath is what connects one’s soul to one’s essence (body).
• Ki is a vital force present in all living things. Medical techniques and training can be used to control the flow of ki.
• All living beings are made up of two “lives,” physical and spiritual. When these aspects are in harmony, great power can be attained.
• You increase your wisdom score by 1d4. This increase cannot raise your wisdom beyond 24. You can receive this benefit from the scrolls only once every 10,000 years.
• You add Cultivation of the Microcosmic Orbit to the list of features available to you. You may take this feat the next time you allowed to select a feat after leveling up, as long as you meet the prerequisite Wisdom score of 13 or higher.
