General Zhao Kuangyin usurped the imperial throne from Chai Jin's ancestor. This was the founding of the Xiong dynasty during the time of the Ancient Jiao. It is said the Zhao felt regret for his usurpation, and he issued a danshu tiequan to the Chai family. Chai Jin would later famously use this item's ability to keep him safe from prosecution under Xiong law.
