Description

Curtie is an older human woman and former owner of the Bow’s End Tavern. She was poisoned and has had memory issues since. She occasionally believes she still owns the Tavern and shows up to work, with the new owner powerless to stop her. There’s a mystery meal named after her – the Curtie Special – in reference to her poisoning.

Year 1 Involvement

Gary heard Curtie’s name in passing at the start of his Bow’s End career. He’d heard of the mystery meal named after her, though nobody would tell him what it was. Javenesh would only mention that she was poisoned the previous year, but otherwise didn’t want to discuss her.
Gary finally met Curtie in person when she arrived on Dean Valentin’s arm to the protests Rosie organized to get two other professors off probation. She could tell what Gary last ate by smelling his breath. She still believed she owned the Tavern, and suggested Gary apply for a position there.
Later in the year, she showed up to the Tavern and began working, unaware that she no longer owned the place.
