Dragonsguard
The Dragonsguard are best known for being campus security. They patrol campus looking for anything amiss or helping any students who need it. Often this means escorting drunk students back to their towers or helping first-years who got lost. Occasionally they're called to break up fights or settle magic gone awry when circumstances exceed professors' abilities to handle.
The more veteran members also patrol less safe areas in and around campus, such as the surrounding mountains and Sedgemoor. These scouting parties watch for unauthorized entry to the campus and help keep populations of the more dangerous creatures in check.
