Thane Ironshield

A Grizzled old dwarf in charge of keeping the town of "Fires Edge" safe. Once loved an elven woman whose family forbade them from marrying. Never much of blacksmith, miner, armorer, or diplomat, Thane loved fighting. He spent his youth in the underground fighting rings, where many of the orphans end up, using his hand to knock his opponents out cold. Thane is a wonderful warrior who knows how to use his "Hammer of Justice" to keep the rowdy drunk dwarves in check and any mischievous individuals in check. When not at work patrolling the town Thane can be found drinking his problems away at one of the inns. A coinsurer of fine ales, wines, and cheese. There are not many things that can give up a fight like him, besides maybe his liver.
