The bas-relief of Germanicus

On the planet Germanicus, the third of the Olympus solar system and the only inhabited one at the time, is one of the greatest works of mankind. An enormous bas-relief that covers the entire side of a mountain. It is composed of 10 bands, each of which is 100 meters high and 5 kilometers long. The bas-relief tells, in a very allegorical way, the colonization of the Olympus solar system and of the Germanicus planet. The bas-reliefs are in chronological order, with the lower ones telling the previous events, and the higher one being the more modern one. In chronological order the bas-reliefs tell: The first speaks of the discovery of the tunnel that connects the solar system and the Olympus system and the exploration of the same by probes. The second tells of the stabilization of the tunnel and the construction of the first orbital base that served as a support for in-depth exploration and the beginning of colonization The third tells of the destruction of the base by Chinese saboteurs, and the crisis that ensued, as the tunnel risked collapse. The fourth shows the construction of the second base and the first mining stations. The fifth describes the colonization of the planet Germanicus and the arrival of the first settlers. The sixth represents the brief war with the Chinese empire to control the system, which ended with an overwhelming Roman victory. The seventh shows the foundation of the planetary capital and the beginning of a thorough exploration of the planet. The eighth speaks of the other planets of the system, as well as of the band of asteroids and the sun of the system, and their main characteristics. The ninth is dedicated to the expansion on the planet Germanicus, and presents the strangest animals and plants found on it. The last one is the most particular, because it shows the realization of the bas-relief itself with a glorification of the planetary governor who wanted it.

Really cool, but want to know more! How is this bas-relief thought of? Do people take holidays / pilgrimages to go see it, or is it a shameful, old fashioned depiction of colonialism and war that is frequently vandalized? Do factions still fight over it?
