Mortal Life

In her mortal life, Ebony was a figure of grace and courage. She was known for her steadfastness, braving the harsh realities of the Badland Bogs alongside her husband, It'suss Rage. A deeply committed partner, her devotion to It'suss knew no bounds. Despite her relatively hostile existence, her life took a tragic turn when she was killed during a battle against a greater demon called the Monarch.

Ascendancy to Demonhood

Ebony's death was a pivotal moment for It'suss, who merged with the Monarch in a desperate bid to save the Badland Bogs from devastation. His transformation also bore a unique opportunity for Ebony. To ensure her continued existence, It'suss used his newfound powers to imbue Ebony's soul with demonic essence, granting her a new form and elevating her to demonhood.
Despite the physical transformation, Ebony retained her personal identity, her love for It'suss, and her fundamental values. Her essence was altered but not corrupted. She now stood as a Demon Lady, an equal to her husband in terms of power and authority.

Reign in Hell

Together, It'suss and Ebony embarked on a mission to claim dominion over the Seven Hells. Their first conquest was the first circle, once ruled by the frost giant Demon Lord Kostchtchie. Their combined strength and strategy led to their victory, with It'suss claiming Kostchtchie's essence and the couple establishing their reign.
Their conquest did not stop there. With It'suss leading the charge, they took over the second circle of Hell, previously under the control of Yeenoghu. In an unprecedented move, It'suss transferred control of this circle to Ebony, further cementing her position as a Demon Lady.
The second circle was transformed under Ebony's rule. It bloomed into a deadly beauty, resembling the Dak’ladak Landscape, reflecting the union of Ebony's grace and the savagery of her demonic form. She established the Ebony Fortress, a sanctuary amidst the chaos of Hell, named after her as a symbol of their love and shared resolve.
