Overview:

The Mechalich is a lich who merges necromantic magic with advanced mechanical technology, transforming into a powerful, immortal being through cybernetic enhancements.

Common Traits:

Mechaliches are characterized by their blend of skeletal remains and mechanical parts. They possess magical and mechanical abilities, enhanced strength, and durability.

Transformation:

To become a Mechalich, an artificer must construct a mechanical body, embedding a biological component, often one of their own organs, as a soul anchor. This construct, once completed, houses the artificer's soul.

Abilities:

Mechaliches retain their spellcasting abilities and gain additional powers from their mechanical enhancements. They can control and command other constructs, and their bodies are highly resistant to damage.

Phylactery:

The phylactery of a Mechalich is their mechanical body. Destroying the body does not kill the Mechalich; instead, the soul transfers to another prepared mechanical body.
