Thunderhoof
Thunderhoof is the name given to a colossal moose that turned the tide during the Siege of Underleaf. While the beast was integral in the outcome of the battle as well as the establishment of Underleaf's reputation as a bulwark against the monsters of the Wilds, the Interbellum years have seen his status shift to more of a mythological figure. There are many in the woods who question his existence and eyewitness accounts of the battle.
Thunderhoof's appearance was documented by survivors of the Siege of Underleaf, one of the last battles of the great war. As Marquisate forces appeared poised to break the defending line of Denizens, a thunderous bellow came from the woods beyond. The beast emerged, stomping and thrashing wildly into the fray. He dove back into the woods after several chaotic seconds. When the din settled, the forces of the Marquisate lay decimated. Seizing the opportunity, the Denizen forces rallied under the leadership of Fern Brambleheart, a young rabbit lieutenant. The Marquisate force was routed, their remaining soldiers fleeing toward the clearing that would become Spurgate. To this day, massive ponds dot the landscape of the battlefield - locals insist they are the hoofprints left behind on that day.
Definitive measurements do not exist due to the brevity of Thunderhoof's appearance and the chaos that ensued, but witness accounts point to the above scaling.
