Government

Due to the hamlet's sole reliance on adventurer's, the large influx of adventurers had led to the city not needing a police force. Though many adventurers simply don't care enough or are the ones causing crime, there are always plenty of heroic adventurers that are more than happy to look after the town and prevent crime.   The hamlet is under the leadership of Grandma Delobre, the eldest in the hamlet and the most knowledgeable about the history. Though her hamlet isn't part of Efleysal, she borrows most of their laws for Cheabury too.

History

The settlement originally began with a single house. The house was built by a member of the Heroes of the Realm to be a place for people to find shelter. The area was quite far from any civilisation so a house would be comforting to adventurers. It was in the middle of quite a large forest clearing.   Eventually, the member who had originally proposed the idea to build a house in the forest had retired from his work in the guild. He decided to visit the house and live the rest of his life there. He had specialised in cryomancy so he was able to keep large supplies of food and drink for a very long time.   Soon after his retirement, the area had begun to become more popular. Monsters appeared more and more often around the settlement, attracting more and more adventurers to hunt for loot and hone their skills. The man had become the founder, hiring adventurers to build more houses and eventually transforming his original house into the inn that is now today known as Delobre's Inn. Though it had never grown to be a prosperous area due to how remote the area is and not enough adventurers to pay for all its costs, it is supported by the Heroes of the Realm through funding and lots of goods such as coal, water and alcohol.

Architecture

Except The Stone Inn, all of the building in Cheabury are made of dark wood gathered from the forests surrounding it.

Geography

A small poor old village, surrounded by forest except for a road that leads right to the village. Often visited by adventurers and alcohol lovers but not really anyone else. A couple houses here and there at the outskirts of the village, mostly employees, but the center of the village has three large competitive wooden inns with many rooms and soft beds and a large noisy tavern. Always enough adventurers around that they don't have a need for a police force for the village.
