The Rangers

The Rangers are a highly skilled group of people, each with their own highly specialized skill. They consist of expert brewer, users, archers, swordsmen, strategists, trackers, and more. After their split, the Northern Rangers moved to the icy Northern Tundra and built a small village where they have since lived. The Southern rangers moved to the Southern Waters and lived in a couple of small ships, occasionally docking on unpopulated shores. The Western Rangers moved to the Baderian Peaks where they lived in caves on the slopes of a mountain. The Eastern Rangers moved near the Desert where they became nomads.

Composition

Manpower

Each group of rangers consists of about a dozen people, each with their own specialization.

Equipment

They use horses to travel but don't have any carts. They always carry pots to brew potions and military equipment such as swords, spears, ropes, bow/arrows, and more. Preferring to travel quickly, their packs are light and they carry only the essentials.

Training

It is unknown where and how the Rangers were trained and many have asked to train with them but have been refused. Some were defects from large military forces and received some of their training there but clearly have gone through other training as well.

History

The Rangers were once just one small group but later decided to split so that each could develop new skills and practices. They split into four groups: Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western. The split wasn't a bad one and the groups still met up and learned from one another long after in a unknown location every few years.

Historical loyalties

They have no loyalties and fight for no one. They live in hiding and have only been known to occasionally show up for battles near their respective homes, all of which they have won and quickly left from.
