Tkin

Divine Domains

Tkin governs the sun. They reign as the ruler of the summer and heat. However, the association with beautiful sunsets and sunrises also brings beauty, majesty, and colors into their domain. Songbirds have their own special connection to Skaa for their beautiful colors and musical performances.

For the lower class, Tkin takes on a more antagonistic roll. The beating sun withers their crops, burns their skin, and dries up their irrigation. Many of their festivities take place at night, away from the sun. They appreciate the light of the sun and recognize their dependency on it, but also resent the many woes it brings. Tkin sometimes is viewed as an abusive parent--their children must respect them, even if sometimes they hurt them.

Within the walls, Tkin rules the other gods. Their palace is large and wealthy, and they are associated with wealth and success. Luxuries such as spices reflect wealth, so Tkin also reigns over them. The rich of the Cinpruxtkhaj Grasslands idealize them as their leader, and the workers ask Tkin to bless them with financial success.
