Delerium Cipher

Sometimes delerium crystals will form around an otherwise ordinary item in The Haze. These items, when broken, create spell-like phenomena in the area. Found throughout the Haze, they are more common in areas where the Haze is thicker, such as area of the Deep Haze. How and why they form is unknown at this time. 

To use a delerium cipher, simply break or smash the item, making sure it does not come into contact with exposed skin. When broken, the magical energies that have built up inside them are released, leaving behind the now broken item and 5 (2d4) delerium chips.

Significance

These items are useful to adventurers of all sorts for the magical powers that can be unleashed when needed.
