Listen, I'm not one to brag, but I'm the reason the world was both nearly destroyed AND saved! If I hadn't pushed little... What does she call herself now? Echo? Sure...
If I hadn't pushed her, would she be around popping up here and there saving the world? No, I don't think so. And she's a dragonborn now? You think it's a coincidence? That's my doing too, of course.
So you're welcome, world. I'll take my place in paradise now.

Personal history

Follower of The Nine and leader of a subsection meant to build to trust and cooperation with communities.

Gab  is assigned to him, his mission to help convince her the Nine is a force for good. Ends up developing a friendship.

The Nine grows concerned his efforts are not as effective as they need and question his loyalty. He is reassigned to another area to separate the two.

Red tricks her with Bart's help and fakes Bart's death at the behest of the Nine. He is moved on to a different group.

Bart keeps tabs on her new imprisonment, learns of Gab's eventual escape.

Coordinates and moves up the ranks, ends up filling the empty role in Nine Leadership left by Red. He was gifted special gifts of the Nine: The Crystal Ball of True Seeing and the Eagle Eyes. Red's sword was also passed down but he is more accustomed to fighting in the shadows and rarely uses it, preferring his Dancing Blade.

Bart uses his new role to seek out clues to Gab's fate. Immediately after her escape, his magical scrying failed over and over. Believing this to mean her captors had killed her, moved on to his own responsibilities in Ashflower.
When Bart heard rumors of a masked elf calling herself The Azaeth had made herself known to some Nine Operatives in the capital city of Craghaven, he had all but given up hope. The first rumors were that she had coerced said Nine members to fight for Craghaven as Ancient Dragon's attacked. Bart was consulted and ultimately became the final word on the agreement to the matter, trusting that if it was the Gab he knew, it wouldn't be a trap.
When she failed to materialize after the battle had been lost, he assumed he had been duped and was under high scrutiny by the rest of the leadership of the Nine. Throughout all of this, his scrying had begun once again, and failed just as it had before.
Only a few short weeks later, more rumors arose of the same masked elf cleaning up Craghaven of his troops and fighting off the blood of dragon as well. Not to be fooled again, Bart took a more hands-on approach, discarding his entourage and making his way to the Eastern Continent alone. He found some survivors that had seen the masked elf and revealed she was accompanied by an orcish looking fellow she had called Gorgoroth.
Hoping to have a little more success this time around, Bart began to Scry Gorgoroth regularly to see if he could catch a glimpse of this little masked rogue that had eluded him. On one success, he found the one he thought to be Gorgoroth, standing in confrontation of a Dragonborn that looked eerily similar to himself and the corpse of a rather large green dragon.
The elf and a few others were there, but the angle made it hard to make out the details of those surrounding this creature. Although they all looked tense and ready to fight, not one made a move to attack in earnest. He listened in as the Dragonborn laid out some interesting details on the others standing around her and made a note of the details. The surroundings looked foreign and found it impossible to establish where to go from what he'd seen. It wasn't until a few days later that the scry on Gorgoroth succeeded yet again as he made his way to Wolfwater using a teleportation circle in a wooded forest. Looking around, it seems a battle had taken place, leaving a rather large hole in the ground. As luck would have it, he found he was not that far off from Wolfwater and began making his way there, expecting to catch the traveling duo exiting the city as he entered.
