Lt Sharu was the most senior non-Fleet officer aboard the Barazad when it received orders to investigate the probe crash site on Nakondis. When the Azlanti discovered colonists on the planet, she took command of the invasion force, which quickly overwhelmed the colonists and established a garrison in the colony’s main settlement, Madelon's Landing.
