Alaner is a woman in the later stages of her life, she is visibly old with wrinkles and crow's eyes. Her hair is red at its end, however she is currently greying with her roots being close to white. She wears the green robes common of a priestess of Chauntea with basic jewelry bearing the symbols of Chauntea
Involvement
The party first encountered Alaner as her Temple was occupied by a band of hobgoblins. The result was a massacre, of which only she and a young man named Jonathan survived. While initially in a state of traumatic shock, she was able to pull herself out of it to help as many who survived within the town as possible.
Alaner was made a signature to the Charter of Red Larch and a representative upon the Council of Red Larch. Shortly thereafter, Alaner was a participant in the Battle of Red Larch where she helped save a great many lives while putting her life in great risk. In the aftermath of the Battle she argued to send for a delegation from the Temple of the Great Mother in Velfauna for more acolytes for the Temple within Red Larch, something which was approved by the rest of the Council of Red Larch.
