Moradin's Forge

Moradin's Forge is a massive facility located within the Karthaig Province of the Velgan Empire, renowned for its ability to produce vast quantities of smelted goods. The Forge is unique in that it harnesses the power of geothermal energy to heat its coals and floor to the necessary high temperatures for smelting, with channels bringing magma from deep beneath the earth and using Adamantine rods to enhance the heating process. The walls of the Forge are constructed of a grey stone that is geometrically perfect,, leading some to speculate that it may have been built by an unknown race or civilization.
While the origins and purpose of Moradin's Forge are shrouded in mystery, it is now retrofitted by dwarves and gnomes who have taken over its operation.
