Repository of Stone

The Repository of Stone is located within the ancient city of Aranthiag. The Repository is a gigantic archive constructed during the Age of the Elder Races to chronicle the history of the noble races and the history of the Ozer'Nack Empire and has come to chronicle the history of the Kingdom of Aran'Nack. The histories are carved into granite and cover over 220 miles of shelving.
The Repository of Stone is considered one of the most valuable and significant cultural heritage sites in all the subterranean world. It is a vast library made up of intricately carved stone tablets, depicting the rich and diverse history of the elder races and their civilizations, including the Ozer'Nack Empire and the Kingdom of Aran'Nack. The walls, floors and ceilings of the Repository are made entirely of marble, with the illustrations, maps and historical records carved into stone.
The Repository of Stone holds an unparalleled collection of knowledge, including records of wars and battles, treaties, laws and customs, as well as astronomical and geographical observations. The collection is so vast that it is said that even if someone were to spend their entire life studying it, they would never uncover all its secrets.
In addition to its historical significance, the Repository of Stone is also revered as a spiritual site by many. Some dwarves and rock gnomes consider it to be the physical manifestation of the ancestors and all their wisdom. Researchers from across Runetalras have attempted to access the Repository, however, its keepers guard it like ancestor gold.
