Roland is a man of above average size, strong build, and light skin. He sports a well kempt black beard, wears a breast plate, and carries two swords on his side. At the present moment he wears a bandage around his head and the right side of his face.
Roland serves as both the leader of the Red Larch townguards and a member of the Council of Red Larch.
Known History
Roland served as the townguard captain for the last five years and served the Thatchers well during his service, until the hobgoblins invaded and killed most of the townguard and seriously injured him.
Involvement
The party first encountered Roland in the basement of the Heart Tavern in Red Larch where he was training a cohort of farmers to fight against the hobgoblins that had taken over Red Larch. Roland assisted in the planning of the Battle of Red Larch, and informed the party of a rear entrance to the Red Larch Manner. Roland also led a unit to victory in the Battle of Red Larch.
Roland is also a member of the Council of Red Larch, and a signing member to the Charter of Red Larch. He is also a present the leader of the, greatly depleted, Red Larch townguards.
