The Behemoth

The Behemoth is located at the mouth of the Fanged Bay, within the Infernal-Draconic Ascendancy. The Behemoth is a massive structure, standing over 120 feet tall, and made entirely of a shimmering silver alloy that still gleams to this day. Its body is shaped like that of a Dragonborn, with sweeping wings, a sinuous tail, and a head that is thrown back in a roar. Its eyes are made of sparkling gems that catch the light and seem to glow from within.
The Behemoth is not just a statue, however. It was created to function as a lighthouse, and its mouth emits flames that billow thirty feet into the sky, guiding ships safely to shore. When the sun strikes the Behemoth, it is said to look like a second sun in the area, and its reflection dances across the waves.
Despite its great age, the Behemoth has remained in excellent condition, a testament to the skill of the ancient draconic races who built it. It is a symbol of the power and prosperity of the Holy Draconic Empire, and a reminder of The Ages past when the rule of the Holy Draconic Empire was undeniable.
The Behemoth was constructed by the Holy Draconic Empire, during the Age of the Elder Races when the Empire was at its peak. The exact alloy used to create the Behemoth was lost during the chaos and violence of the Age of Blood, but it is clear whatever the metal is, it is remarkably light, strong and resistant to corrosion and weathering.
The Behemoth is viewed as a physician symbol of the superiority and strength of the draconic races and the Infernal-Draconic Ascendancy. Important ceremonies, such as the crowning of the High Wyrm and Primarch being held on the island the Behemoth is built upon.
