Wrapping Up the Set

After a hard fought battle against the Void Entity, Nog'Rith, the party took a moment to recover in the remains of the underground cathedral. After a short rest, they started to make their way back through the tunnels to return to the Monveau Theater and leave. As they made their way out, they ran into a few creatures looking for them:

Robalt, a restored patron and survivor from the play up above who did not want to be there but was being pushed forward by

Two (2) disgusting looking Shadowspawn, monstrous creatures of shadowy flesh, slug like bodies, two heads, and long appendages.

Gnaur, a grungy mage requesting that the party hand over the book that the playwright had used to summon Void creatures

And his good boy, Fraum the Shadow Mastiff, who blends in with the shadows

The Souper Troopers "politely" declined to hand over the book and instead gave him random things to annoy and the situation devolved into combat. Feeling a little outclassed as a Warlock, Turt decided to release a Herald of the Void she had found locked in a gem back in Bilgewater but quickly lost control of it. The chaotic battle got even more out of hand as the Herald began attacking both sides before eventually collapsing into starry tear in the fabric of space. No longer wanting to deal with the party and an ancient Void entity, Gnaur made his escape and left his Shadowspawn to keep the party occupied. After things wound down, Laccaria and Turt received a telepathic message that about him being very annoyed by their behavior.
Wrapping things up, the party exited the tunnels and theater, the effects of the Void Incursion slowly receeding. The Warden Investigator that they had rescued cleared away their trespassing charge and other Wardens took in Robalt who escaped during the fight with Gnaur. The party returned to the Lang Household to turn in the quest and then made their way back to the Explorers' Guild House to turn in and recover.
