What Happened?

And we're off to murder Kogun! Or not. Bloodlust seems to have settled over a couple weeks, but we'll see where things go!
With two days before the honor guard job, the party took to the town to spend a little cash and improve their appearance a bit. A hat and a cloak here. Magical boots and hat there. It was a nice relaxing shopping episode for a minute before getting ready for the mission ahead.
The Souper Troopers found Daimyo Kogun socializing with a previous acquantance, Gellan Primewater, outside Count Mei's Menagerie in the early mornings before the zoo was to open. The party exchanged, err, pleasantries(?) before things started to get chaotic within the zoo.
The power seemed to dissipate and revealed that the creatures within the zoo were all free and the employees were endangered. After a quick word with a zookeeper, the party entered, still escorting Kogun, to try to restore power (via a Hextech Crystal that was given by the Zookeeper).
Within the zoo, the party was accosted by a Camel and slightly trampled by a mammoth as they chose to take the center route to the visitor center. This path took them through Underwater Exhibit that housed the Chuul Nullifier, a creature that seemed attracted to sources of magic. It attacked the holders of a small treasure trove of items as they made their way across the bleachers, but the party made it through to the otherside.

Notes

The party learned that Chuul Nullifiers are hulky mf'ers that have limited spell immunity, nullifying attacks from and automatically succeeding on saving throws from 2nd level spells and lower.
